Regional Context

Lindisfarne relates its understanding of God’s mission to the principles on which it has been founded and to the regional ecclesial and secular contexts in which it is set, one important aspect of which is the Church of England’s rich heritage of faith and practice in the North East region.   These contexts, which are not static but changing and developing, bring challenges to the Church and therefore to Lindisfarne in its work of nurturing disciples, education and training.
