Come to the Well and Drink

Come to the Well and Drink is a new six-session short course on different approaches to prayer. Wherever people are in their praying it offers new avenues in a contemplative and creative style.

This course will run for the first time over six sessions on 2,9,16,23 Feb and 1,15 Mar, all 2-4pm at St Anthony’s Priory. The course leader will be Sister Sheila McNamara, who wrote the course in partnership with St Anthony’s Priory, Durham and Lindisfarne Regional Training Partnership . To reserve a place please email durhamstant@aol.com or phone 0191 384 3747. The course is free, although participants are asked to make a donation towards the cost of running it.

If you are interested in training as a facilitator of this course, a training session will be held on 20 Feb, 7pm also at St Anthony’s Priory. It would be good if trainee facilitators could also attend the course led by Sister Sheila in February/March (see above). If you would like to come along to the training event, or if clergy or Readers would like to recommend people to train as facilitators, please get in touch with Alastair Macnaughton, Developing Discipleship Officer by email alastairmacnaughton@lindisfarnertp.org or on 0191 276 5005. If you are interested in holding Come to the Well and Drink in your area please contact Alastair to discuss this.
