Lindisfarne Staff Vacancy

Due to a significant increase in student numbers, Lindisfarne Regional Training Partnership is seeking to appoint a tutor to share with the core staff in the delivery of its Durham University BA in Theology and Ministry programme. This is a temporary, part-time post for 1.5 days per week from now until 31 August 2011. The person appointed will need to be available to start work immediately. The post entails sharing in the work of setting up student placements, assessing sermons and worship leading, undertaking some teaching and marking on Pastoral Studies Modules and acting as Personal Tutor to a number of students. He/she will be required to attend some Lindisfarne staff meetings. Office space will be provided at Lindisfarne’s offices at Church House, Percy Main, North Shields though the person appointed may choose to undertake some work from home to reduce unnecessary travel. Salary will be £6,972 p.a.
