Lindisfarne Ushaw Lecture
We are delighted to welcome Professor Michelle Brown as our guest lecturer for the 2026 Lindisfarne Ushaw Lecture.

Her talk, “Bede and the Theory of Everything” will draw on our rich history of the church in the North East, exploring Bede’s approach to Christian scholarship and understanding – his ‘theory of everything’.
The lecture takes place on Monday 19 October, 7.00pm (for a 7.30pm start) in the Francis Thompson Room at Ushaw Historic House.
The event is free (or pay as you wish) but booking is essential. We anticipate high demand and places are limited, so we encourage you to book early. Please visit https://ushaw.org/
