New Learning Support Tutor at LCT

We are delighted to announce that Bec Scane will be starting with us in September as Learning Support Tutor. Bec is a reader in Newcastle Diocese, at Holy Cross, Fenham, and she trained at LCT (2022-25). She works much of the week in Newcastle University, where she has experience of supporting various students and projects across a wide range of higher education settings. She will be working with Tiffany, our vice-principal, to develop the college’s provision in Learning Support, especially for those with specific learning needs, but also more widely. Welcome back Bec!

Richard Briggs, LCT Principal, says ‘I am very excited to welcome Bec into this role and look forward to working with her. This has long been an important part of LCT, and we remain keen to develop it in our college life. Bec will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.’
